Savoy Cabbage is of much finer quality than ordinary Cabbage, being sweeter with more delicate flavor, and should have its place in every garden. Produces large round heads.
SOWING…For early crop start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, for late crops sow directly outdoors May thru July. Cover seed with ⅛ inch of fine soil, well pressed down. Keep soil moist until seeds start to grow.
THINNING…When plants are 3 to 4 inches tall, thin or transplant 2 feet apart in rows 2 ½ feet apart.
GERMINATION…Germinates in 7 to 14 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS…Water regularly and fertilize every 3 to 4 weeks. Harvest when head is firm by cutting just under the head. Contains Calcium, Iron and Vitamins A, B, and C.Share
