One of the most compact non-hybrid snapdragons, this variety is early, colorful, and free blooming. The wide range of colors make this an ideal choice for beds and borders. Snapdragons do well in full sun or partial shade.
SOWING…Plant seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past, or start indoors 6 to 8 weeks earlier. Plant seed thinly in rows 12 inches apart. Seed is very small and should be barely covered with fine soil, well pressed down. Water carefully and keep soil moist until seeds start to grow.
THINNING…When plants are 1 to 2 inches tall, thin or transplant 3 to 6 inches apart in the row or bed.
GERMINATION…Germinates in 12 to 15 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS…Prefers rich soil which is well-drained but not too dry. Snapdragons will stand hot weather if set in the garden early enough to allow good root development.Share
