A mixture of 13 nectar flowers to feed many different butterfly species and host their caterpillars. Flowers bloom from early spring until first freeze. Most species will multiply in succeeding seasons if allowed to seed. Once established, this mixture is drought tolerant and requires little care. Covers up to 50 square feet.

FOR BEST RESULTS…plant in fall after first hard frost and ground has cooled below 45 degrees for spring sprouting. Mix seed with 1 cup of dry sand or sheep’s fescue and spread over well weeded bare ground in a sunny location. Cover lightly with fine soil and firmly press seed into the soil. Keep soil moist until plants start to grow. Keep well-weeded the first year (know how to recognize your local weeds).

GERMINATION…15 to 90 days depending on variety and weather conditions.
